1) Serviceable locations

  • We ship across most pin codes in India.
  • Preferred courier partner: Blue Dart. We may also use other trusted partners based on serviceability.
  • Some remote or limited-access pin codes may have longer transit times or may be unserviceable. You’ll see this at checkout.

2) Made-to-order processing time

  • All blinds are custom-made. Typical production time is 3–7 business days from order confirmation and successful measurement verification (if required).
  • Large orders or unusual sizes may require extra time; we will notify you.


3) Delivery timelines (after dispatch)

  • Metros and state capitals: 3–6 business days
  • Other cities and towns: 5–9 business days
  • Remote/ODA locations, J&K, NE states, islands: 7–12 business days
    Timelines are estimates. Weather, local restrictions, or courier network issues can cause delays.

4) Shipping fees

  • Free pan-India shipping as a limited-time launch offer.
  • No handling fees. If this offer changes, we will update this page before checkout reflects any charges.

5) Order splitting

Multiple panels may ship in more than one carton or tube for safety. You will receive separate tracking numbers if split.

6) Address changes and order edits

  • Address changes are possible before dispatch by replying to your order email.
  • Once dispatched, rerouting depends on courier feasibility and may incur charges.

7) Tracking

A tracking link is sent by email/SMS after dispatch. Tracking may go live within a few hours of pickup scan.

8) Delivery attempts

  • Couriers usually make 1–3 attempts. If unreachable or the address is incomplete, the shipment may be returned.
  • Re-shipping costs for customer-caused returns (wrong address or unavailable receiver) will be borne by the customer.

9) Packaging and tamper checks

  • Every parcel is packed in protective tubes/boxes with our diycustomblinds.com label and QR code.
  • On delivery: If the outer packing looks tampered, wet, or crushed, take photos and an unboxing video, and refuse delivery or sign “Received with damage—subject to inspection” and contact us immediately.

10) Damaged-in-transit or missing items

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at support@diycustomblinds.com with:
1) Order ID and AWB
2) Photos of outer box, inner packing, product, and shipping label
3) Short unboxing video (from unopened parcel to product)
We will coordinate with the courier for a claim and arrange a replacement where verified.
Note: Manufacturing defects and post-delivery installation issues are handled under our Returns and Warranty policy. Returns are not allowed for custom products except for verified defects.

11) Lost shipments

If tracking shows “delivered” but you have not received it, inform us within 24 hours so we can raise it with the courier. Delayed intimation reduces the chance of recovery.

12) Cash on Delivery (COD)

COD is not available for custom-made blinds. All orders are prepaid.

13) International shipping

Not available for finished blinds at the moment. Fabric sample kits may be offered internationally in the future; details will be updated here.

14) Holidays and cut-offs

Production and dispatch operate Mon-Sat, excluding public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next working day.

15) GST invoice

A GST invoice is issued to the billing email after dispatch. For business buyers, enter the correct GSTIN at checkout.
