How to install Vertical Blinds for Face Fit?

Installing your vertical blind onto your window frame

You'll be installing the vertical blind brackets onto your window frame. The brackets have multiple fixing points; however, to achieve maximum coverage, ensure to install the screws through the back of your bracket onto the outside of your window frame.

It only takes a few minutes to install your new vertical blind, so let's get started.

What's in the box?

Let's unpack everything! Lay it on the floor.

Open up the cardboard box(es) you've received. Open the outer layer of plastic surrounding your vertical blind(s). You'll notice some bracket componentry, beaded chains, end caps and a bag of screws. There'll be one bag with all the screws for each of the blinds you've ordered - there are 4 screws per roller blind (2 per bracket).

Position your brackets

Before you install your brackets, its important that your outer most brackets are postisioned at least 50mm from the end on your blind.

Mark up - Get a pencil ready

You're going to be marking up where your brackets will be installed.

Mark up your brackets

Gather your brackets, the number of brackets may differ depending on the length of your blind.

Lift each bracket to the top corners of your window frame, flush with the top of the frame. Mark two holes through each bracket as shown in the image.

Make sure the back of the bracket is at least 10mm from any obstructions.

Keep things level

To make installation as easy as possible, it's important that your brackets are in line with each other.

Install your brackets

Let's get drilling - Now you'll be drilling pilot holes for your brackets and then installing them with the supplied screws.

Don’t have a drill at home? No worries!

You can always call your trusted local carpenter, electrician, or plumber — they usually carry a drill and can help you install the brackets in no time. It’s a small job they’ll wrap up quickly and affordably.

Now, let’s get those brackets up!

Once the drill is ready, start by making pilot holes where your brackets will go. Then, secure them firmly using the supplied screws.

Drill your pilot holes

Pop the 3mm drill bit into your drill and pre-drill holes for each of the vertical blind brackets where you've marked in the previous step. Repeat for all brackets.

Install your brackets

Install your brackets by holding each up and drilling a screw through the pilot hole. Repeat this process for all remaining brackets.

If you have a pelmet, install the pelmet brackets

Optional (if you have a pelmet) - Install the pelmet brackets with the supplied screws.

Are you ready to install your vertical blinds? Told you, it was an easy-peasy installation!

Click in your vertical blind, it's that easy! We're nearly there. Just simply click your vertical blind into your already installed brackets.

Line up your blind

Lift up your vertical blind at an angle and line up the front lip with the prongs on the front of each bracket. Then hook the prongs into the underside of the lip.

Click in your blind

Keeping the front lip hooked on, turn your headrail toward the window. Once your the back of the headrail is in inline with the window frame, gently apply force until you hear a satisfying 'Click'. This means your blind is now intalled and secure. Great Job!

Clip on your blind slats

Now for the fun part - This is where you will install the individual lengths of material that make up your blind.

Clip it good

Holding the top of the slat, line it up with the a peg protruding from the headrail. Gently push the slat into the peg, where it will clip into place

Finish it off. Repeat the previous step for each of your remaining slats. Once that's done, your blinds will be fully installed and looking amazing. Great Job! You have done it! Congratulations.
